life lessons: Living The Dream - 05/19/09 12:17 PM
Inspired by Inna Hardison's tribute to her son, I wanted to share with you about living the dream. I am the blessed and (usually) fortunate mom of an almost ten year old competitive, testosterone prone, sports minded boy, Derek. He, along with my daughter, are a dream come true for me. This series will be entitled "Step Up To the Plate", (14 comments)
life lessons: Give it to the busy girl... - 09/23/07 11:51 PM
So have you ever found yourself in this position? Sitting at your computer trying to get work done, squeezed between baseball practice, PTA meetings, church choir practice, and civic commitments. When all of a sudden your blackberry beeps that you have a new email message. You go to check it tentatively....knowing full well that someone, somewhere is asking for your time, your attention, your help. Now, I am the first to say that I love to give and love to help. The busier I am, the more organized I become, the more I accomplish...to a point. While it is true that busy (5 comments)
