Bus Shuttle To Tennessee Titan Games Cancelled Due To Federal Regulations - 07/10/08 09:40 AM
Tennessee Titans Games End-Zone Express shuttle services halted due to federal changes in regulations In April 2008, the Federal Transit Administration, which provides federal funds to public transit agencies, significantly changed its regulations regarding charter services (49 CFR Part 604) across the nation. Public transportation agencies can no longer provide dedicated shuttles to football games, baseball games, hockey or other special events.
Even though the Nashville MTA will not be running direct service to the games, there are several buses on a number of MTA's local routes that travel near the Titans LP Field as they leave downtown.
The routes are: 4 Shelby, 26 Gallatin Road, 28 Meridian, 30 … (0 comments)

Don't Be Afraid To Be A Nag - 07/05/08 09:47 PM
I gasped as I heard the nightly news. A condo has gone up in flames and taken 3 other condos with it. Also, a fireman was injured.  I fear another condo which I sold and which backs up to this condo is gone too. The one which caught fire is one I sold to a parent for their young adult child. Someone had been on their deck, grilling out for the 4th of July, and caught the building on fire.
Of course, it is not my fault that they did not follow city codes and condo association rules to NOT to grill on … (2 comments)

Happy Fourth To All Founding Families! - 07/03/08 08:38 PM

We wish all our friends and clients a Happy Fourth of July, whether you and your family have been in this country many generations or just one.
We are all ‘from somewhere else.' Part of our family came to the United States from Germany before the American Revolutionary War, and our great-great-great-great grandfather was a fifer in the war.  He lived to be 103. I never joined the Daughters of the American Revolutionary, but ‘they' tell me I qualify.
We have a niece adopted from another country.  She left that country as a baby never to return as a citizen of it.  She … (0 comments)

I like to share insights about real estate, but we also like to write about life outside of real estate. We also love to read the wisdom and inspiration of others. Nashville TN is an exciting city with many types of restaurants, several colleges and universities, and many styles and prices of housing. We love living and working in Nashville, and invite you to email or phone us with questions about living in the area, or just to talk about your future plans. We have a diverse clientele; some are investors who want to buy more properties; some are investors who want to sell their portfolio; some are seniors who want to downsize; some are relocating executives who need a spacious home for entertaining and living comfortably. We have bank customers whose foreclosure & REO properties we list and sell. We never rush our clients to make a decision, as we work on your schedule, not ours. We can refer you to private lenders, mortgage lenders, and other vendors in the area. And, of course, we never accept a fee for referral to a vendor or lender. Even though vendors come highly recommended to us, or we have had personal experience with their work, you should always interview them and get other references and come to your own comfort level with them. Our work helps support Founding Family Charitable Foundation, a 501-C-3 nonprofit.
