Hey Everyone! The Victoria Day Long Weekend is here!! This year, the City of Brampton will be celebrating the May 2-4 long weekend at the Brampton Soccer Centre located at 1495 Sandalwood Parkway (Dixie Road/Sandalwood Parkway).

Secondary homes will bear primary cost of HST
Purchasing a new ski chalet, a new weekend condo, or a new cottage will get a lot more expensive when the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) comes into effect July 1. Buyers of new homes that do not qualify as a primary residence will bear the full brunt of the 13 per cent HST. The tax will add tens of thousands of dollars to the cost of a new second home.

Greater Toronto REALTORS® reported 10,898 sales through the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in April, representing a 34 per cent increase compared to April 2009. There were also 20,683 new listings in April – a 59 per cent annual increase.
