Existing home sales increased 5.1% in February to 4.72 millions units.  What's even better is the Pending Homes Sales Index also went up - it currently stands at 82.1,  2.1% increase.  The Pending Home Sales Index and Existing Home Sales measures are reported by the National Association of Realtors Research Division.  These two figures with an upward tick are a good indicator of positive momentum in the real estate sales market.
