Here are highlights from the today's article in the Star Telegram about EPA fines of over $4 million to builder's for non compliance. Ouch!

WASHINGTON -- Four of the nation's largest homebuilders have agreed to pay $4.3 million in fines for failing to control runoff at construction sites in 34 states and the District of Columbia, the Environmental Protection Agency and Justice Department announced Wednesday.

I recently began working with a client from out of the Texas state area.   She came from the Pennsylvania area and worked for a home builder out there.  Even though she was a re-lo buyer, she did not have a Realtor.  I was shocked.  I encouraged her to find one... and quickly! 
I could feel resistance and asked her why she didn't already have one.  She proceeded to tell me that where she was from, having a Realtor meant an automatic 3% higher price on the home.  I couldn't believe it!  I knew I had to tell her how untrue that … (7 comments)

Fairways West at Westridge is a gorgeous golf course community located on the 5th ranked "Overall Golf Club" by Avid Golfer's Magazine.  We currently have inventory on the ground and are paying a wonderful 3%, 4%, 5% commission structure AND $1,000 Realtor Bonus!  We know that is not why you visit, but, it is nice to know you will be cared for as well as your client!  We always welcome Realtors and are hopeful this community will be 100% Realtor driven!  Wouldn't that be wonderful?
