Last year January 1st 2010 to July 1st 2010 there were 20 waterfront cottage sales in Bracebridge.
This year January 1st 2011 to July 1st 2011 there have been 13 waterfront cottage sales in Bracebridge.
Thats a 35% drop in waterfront cottage sales for the Bracebridge area.
As of July 5th 2011 there are currently 45 waterfront cottages for sale in the Bracebridge area. This past weekend showed more than 108cm of snow falling from our skies! That's 3 ft 6 inches of the fluffy white stuff we love to ski and sled on!
The 'state of emergancy' is now over in Bracebridge and Huntsville, although some are still without power, or able to get out of their driveways!
The roads are now open, and the city is doing what they can to get the state of the roads back to normal driving conditions.
We look forward to a great holiday season, and tourists, over this great winter we are already having!

The table shows how many real estate sales there have been in Muskoka so far this year, compared to 2008 sales. Price ranges and this months sales are included to show you who is in the market for buying property.
It is interesting to see that those who have 1 million plus to spend, have bought more properties compared to 2008.
Notice that the other price-point increase has been between $260,000 - $500,000
