The Bay Areas Real Estate Information Systems (BAREIS) Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for Marin County, CA, just released 2008 Year-End Statistics in comparison to those of 2005, 2006 and 2007. Culture, Sustainability and a Beautiful Smile – California Dreaming! - 01/30/09 03:10 PM

So, thanks Joanne! Via Joanne O'Donnell (Chic Home Interiors, LGLS CP Trainer ): Late last year San Francisco's fabulous California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park received a Platinum LEED certification and now is considered to be the greenest museum in the world. Housing Prices Drop Due to Foreclosures in Marin County? - 01/20/09 03:42 AM
One of the questions I have been asked repeatly now a days is how do foreclosures, bank owned, short sales, and other properties affect the Marin Housing Market? Are the prices of homes dropping due to increases in pre-foreclosures, short sales and/or bank owned homes? Here is my answer to the questions on how the foreclosures and Bank Owned properties are affecting Marin Real Estate Market:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "As I have always said, and I stand by that statement - Marin county, due to it's unique qualities, does hold its value compare to other areas. Marin Real Estate value, although dropped some, will go back up sooner

An Eco-Friendly Way to Dispose of Christmas Tree and Fundraise for Marin County Teens - 01/01/09 05:42 PM
As is the tradition of the San Marin High School in Novato, Marin County (famous for eCO friendly and environmental mind); the San Marin SafeGrad committee is running the annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program while rasiing money for our 2009 Graduates. For two weeks after Christmas, San Marin High community members; consists of students, parents, other community supports; and the Novato Disposal Inc. joined force once again to recycle Christmas Trees for local residents. This has become an annual event for many locals and my company, Frank Howard Allen, has become the third partner in this endeavor since 2007, I am pleased to say!
