It seems real estate is either feast or famine. Sometimes we don't get any calls or showings and suddenly there aren't enough hours in the day to accommodate all the people. Everyone wants to look at property at the same time, so it is a good thing there are two of us. It also means, a lot of other things get left undone and the stacks on both of our desks are getting higher. I guess one of these days we will get caught up and then we will be wishing for all these clients.

We just had a closing that was like pulling teeth. We represented the seller and an agent from another company had the buyers. Everything was going great but right before closing, the buyer supposedly lost his job. That was obstacle number one. He still had enough income to qualify for the loan. Then the underwriters got really picky on whether or not this property was a condo-tel (no, it is not) They wanted a copy of the master deed. Next it was some homeowner owed back HOA dues.
