Homes in our area are selling more this year than last.  The banks and mortgage companies have tightened their strings making it difficult to obtain an answser on financing until the last minute.  Everything is checked over several times right up until the last day.  It put buyers and sellers on edge.

Hopefully, this will calm down over the next several months as we try to sell off inventory.  The houseing market creates so many jobs in so many areas that once doesn't realize.  Framers, carpenters, appliance sales, carpet, windows, roofing, landscaping, painters, inspectors, and on and on. 

As much as the lending business was too easy several years ago, it's now becoming too difficult. We ned to find someplace in the middle.
