I keep posting these videos because it allows me to revisit some of the music I have enjoyed through the years. One of the main themes I keep coming back to is the broken heart. This song and video truly sum up the feelings of loss and regret that many of us might have experienced.

I hope you will enjoy the song and the video..

One of my favorite bands is Blue Rodeo. I'm not sure why as I am not really a country music fan but, Blue Rodeo is always on my favorites list. This clip is live version of "Head Over Heels" off of the 5 Days in May CD.

I hope you enjoy it. The crowd singing along seemed to be enjoying it a lot.

Who knows who I will play next week. I hope you enjoy the videos and will stop back and see what else we can share. =)

I graduated high school in 1980 so my growing up years were in the 80's I loved the music of that time. I'm not sure why. It's not like the music was any better or worse than music of any other decade. Whenever I hear one of my old favorites it always triggers memories.

Today's video is for a song that I really enjoyed when I was in college even though most of my friends thought I was crazy. Funny those same friends still think the same things =)

Alright, It has nothing to do with video yet it has everything to do with getting to know people. What we listen to says a lot about us a individuals. Share music that you enjoy. It will help us all get to know one another better.

Today I decided to share a video from Seattle's own Pearl Jam. This particular song has been around for a long time but the guys in Pearl Jam do a great job with it. Enjoy.

I am lucky to live next to Wright Park in Tacoma. A beautiful 27 acre park in the middle of the city. One of the things I have noticed is that I was not taking advantage of the park both as a great place to walk and get some exercise and as a place of beauty. Seems I take for granted things around me if I am not careful.Seymour Conservatory in Wright Park Tacoma

I started this project the first of October with the stated goal of taking a photo a day of the Seymour Conservatory. Now, I cannot be there at the same time everyday so the photos will have diferences because of the time of day but that should not matter too much. Also, I am taking the photos from the same spot but I am not using a tripod or anything else so the photos will be a bit different daily too.

What is exciting is that while walking around Wright Park to get to the conservatory I have been saying hello to a lot of people and I am finding that there are some really friendly people here in Tacoma!

Everyone are you taking for granted some wonderful treasure in your community? Perhaps you need to get out more and smell the coffee of your community! I know I've been enjoying the fruits of my efforts.

If you would like to see the photos you can visit my site by following the link here. I update the photos every day or so. I do take them everyday I just don't always get them uploaded to the site.

Since I have posted less than favorable comments about a past REBarCamp I feel it is only fair that I take a moment and share that I feel the Bellevue REBarCamp was a success.

This was a true grassroots event where the people that are having success with a partiuclar subject shared with those that were hungry to learn more about the subject. The half day format seemed to work well. We were able to have 12 sessions of 50 minutes each and I feel we covered the majority of the topics that people wanted to learn about.

Twitter and Facebook were two of the most common requests for classes. There was a session on Active Rain as well. Video, Online Profiles, Wordpress, and a general Q & A were also covered.

Many thanks to everyone who worked hard to make the event a success and many thanks to everyone who attended. I am looking forward to the next REBarCamp in the greater Puget Sound area.
