Lions Gate Films, well known for so many theatrical releases including the now playing Conan the Barbarian remake and the upcoming 'tween' blockbuster The Hunger Games is filiming their new comedy Gay Dude in the Albion real estate neighbourhood of Maple Ridge.
Gay Dude stars some very well known actors including the star of TV sitcom Parks & Recreation actor Nick Offerman playing Parks and Recreation Director Ron Swanson. Last week, in the afternoon, we were paid a visit by a family of Black Bears. I had heard that there was a mother with three cubs wandering around but they had eluded my site until now. What a cute family they make, I have seen 2 cubs many a time but three!
