OK, how many of you have not updated the picture on your business card in the past, lets say 5 years?  I can't tell you how many times I have to take a double take at the picture on the card and who is standing in front of me!  Come on now, lets get rid of those High School yearbook pictures and update those cards!
About a month back I had the pleasure of working with my son-in-law while my ankle was on the mend from a nasty injury.  I knew the agent but he did not, he had only seen her picture … (0 comments)

Grilling Herb Sauce - 06/28/07 11:23 AM
Over the past ten years or so I have fine tuned this grilling sauce.  I love cooking on the grill, you can get flavors that you just can't duplicate in the kitchen.  This sauce is great on vegetables and all meats(unbelievable on Lamb or Shrimp).  It yields about 2 cups and will keep in the refrigerator for a week.
1 1/2 cup  Minced fresh herbs (basil, rosemary, parsley, oregano) at times I might add some thyme as well.
1 clove  Garlic, minced
1 Tbs  Fresh lemon juice
3-5 drops of Tabasco sauce
1/2 Tsp  salt
1/2 Tsp fresh ground black pepper

Vidalia Onion Cheese Dip - 06/27/07 05:48 PM
With summertime comes the sweet Southern Vidalia onion.  This is a hot or warm dip that is best served with tortilla chips or my favorite Triscuits!
3 Large Vidalia Onions, chopped
2 Tbs unsalted butter
1 cup mayonnaise
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp Tabasco Sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
Preheat oven to 375f,  Saute onions in butter.  Blend with mayonnaise, cheese, Tabasco, and garlic.  Pour into a buttered casserole dish and bake at 375f for 25 minutes.  Serve with chips or Triscuits.  This will make enough for 4-6 folks that are not real hungry!  Goes great with a glass of Pinot Noir or a cold … (2 comments)
