Amazing Pictures, Ice in Defiance, Ohio - 12/20/08 01:42 PM
Here's some pictures that one of my collegues Gina Montez, took of Defiance after our ice storm the other night. It's been pretty crazy at there is at least 1/2 inch of ice on everything. Last night, I was driving through downtown and all the lights were out. I actually enjoyed the look of the town. It was all fixed by this morning. Enjoy the picts and if you are looking for another great agent in this area, besides me of course, Gina Montez is excellent. You can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to her blog at : http://activerain.com/blogs/gmontez
Defiance Interest Rates Drop to 5.0%! - 12/13/08 03:43 PM
Yep, you read that right! I called Denise Davenport at The State Bank here in Defiance Ohio and confirmed it. The rates for a 30 year fixed mortgage for a person with A credit was being promoted at 5.0%. I know that it will create a bunch of refinances, but if buyers have been on the fence waiting for whatever reason to purchase a home. Now might be (0 comments)

If, for example, the stove goes out 2 weeks after you move in, you can have it fixed through the home warranty. If the A/C goes out then the home warranty can provide a way for it to be fixed for a minimal cost. The home warranty covers many different aspects of a home and of course there are different (1 comments)
No Real Snow Yet - 12/01/08 11:49 AM
We were very lucky today as it seems Defiance was missed by the heavy snow that hit around us. I guess it's still coming but I'm ok if it doesn't arrive. I finally have my new 4x4 truck that will help me this winter. I'm still looking for a snow plow to fit it so that I can help out those around me who need their driveways cleared. If the snow could hold off until then, I'd be very happy. Other than that it's shovels and a snow blower. Butler Mohr has a snow blower that I can use that is (0 comments)
