The annual Labor Day party at Forest Highlands this year was the best so far. Once again, the Flagstaff weather threatened to force everyone inside, but the rain stopped just in time for the party to begin.
Members and their families were treated to an international buffet consisting of traditional BBQ fare, Greek sandwiches and salad as well as a taco bar featuring delicious pork tacos. Dessert was Forest Highland's signature brownies that are always a hit.

In my last post, I talked about the charming town of Flagstaff, located in Northern Arizona on the famous Route 66, and all it has to offer. Flagstaff is a popular summer destination for folks from Scottsdale, Phoenix and nearby cities since it is an easy 2 hour or so drive from the Valley without traffic.
In today's post, I want to introduce you to a wonderful, private golf community in Flagstaff called Forest Highlands. Forest Highlands is located just off of Route 89A - minutes from downtown and about 30 miles from Sedona and its magical red rocks and cliffs.
