I do know that i see some featured posts that many question how and why they ever got featured, there was one last week that was a localized topic and the only comment was spam but yet it got featured????

Mother nature played a trick on us here in Manchester NH. With nearly 22 inches of snow in my back yard which fell in a mere 13 hours blanketing everything with a heavy cement like snow. The tree still have leaves them which which collected the snow like a giant sponge. The weight of the snow was too much and brought down branches trees and power poles. Early estimates were no power for at least a week. It had only snowed 4 times this early in 140 years of record keeping with this shattering the old record of 3 inches in the last … (16 comments)

City tells Trash Pickers "keep you hands off our trash" - 10/27/11 09:49 AM
The city of Manchester NH has told trash pickers "To keep their hands off the recycling bins". The problem is trash pickers are picking the aluminum cans out of the recycling bins as residents place them to the curb before they can be picked up by the city. The city has drafted an "anti scavenging" ordinance which will prohibit this practice. The city gets paid by a recycling company who picks up the materials on trash day. Therefore it is a lost source of revenue. The controversary among alderman is if it should include picking things out of garabage cans such as … (8 comments)

I was reading a blog by Karen Fiddler http://actvra.in/lJs  that asked "Are BPO agents Bitter? The TOP 5 ways to know if now is the time to purchase a home? - 10/17/11 12:22 PM
A showing on Saturday inspired a blog post about a buyer looking at houses for sale here in Manchester NH. Before they focused in on this home we looked at everything including short sale listings, foreclosures, bank owned homes and re-sales. This buyer is experiencing what other buyers are which is a delay in completing the purchase. There are several reasons buyers are afraid to make the jump from "LOOKER" to "HOME BUYER". I have heard various reasonings and multiple questions which are all basically similar.  A buyer needs every advantage they can so they can make an informed decision whether now is indeed the right time … (5 comments)

What is a Reasonable price in this Market? How LOW is "TOO LOW" - 10/11/11 11:28 AM
"What is a Reasonable price in this Market" is a frequently asked question? I often find myself talking to the buyers about how LOW is "TOO LOW". Here in The Manchester NH area we did not get hit as bad as some parts of the country. Our prices did decline though and that has created some incredible opportunities for home buyers. The key ingredient with any buyer is how serious are they about buying a home that they will fall in love with and meet their needs as opposed to a buyer looking for the biggest deal out there that they will make fit … (5 comments)

This morning was an interesting conversation on the news and its affect on people. No matter what you pick up to read or what channel you turn to, the lead stories always seem so negative. Well good news is not as exciting as bad news, it does not set off those alarm bells the media is looking to ring that brings you … (10 comments)
