While showing homes in the rural town of Weare NH just north and west of Manchester NH, I met an agent who met me to let us in. The question of the day is Can a Buyer insist on who will hold the Escrow Deposit? The funny part is when Mrs. Buyer Broker called the offer in, she was on a conference call with the Buyer on the line. She then relayed the Buyers offer following that she would hold the escrow deposit and this was "non-negotiable". The buyer than asked "What is the Escrow Deposit?"
