Did you ever wonder, what's so "short" about a Short Sale?
It's no wonder that so many consumers are confused about the home buying process today with terms like, REO, bank-owned, pre-foreclosure, foreclosure, and the now infamous "Short Sale".

Worcester County Maryland Year End Housing Report - 01/30/12 01:43 PM
Ocean Pines REALTOR, Sharon Curtiss blogs about how the Worcester County Maryland Housing market faired in 2011.  
According to the stats as reported by our local Coastal Association of REALTORS MLS, it seems that the Worcester County Housing market is much improved over 2010.
New Listing Inventory was down 18.7% from 704 in 2010 to 572 in 2011.  That is for all of Worcester County, not just Ocean Pines and Ocean City.  That is good news for home sellers, since less inventory will help the market to stabilize.
