Black hills, South Dakota Market Activity - April 24, 2008 - 04/24/08 01:03 PM
For several years I have been doing this analysis on a weekly basis to determine market conditions. My full report has more details on it. It is really helpful to determine what price ranges buyers are looking at. I also compare activity for this year with the past several years. I've been using Statcounter [ http://www.statcounter.com/ ] to determine where my traffic comes from on all my web site. It can be configured to be invisible, and there is no cost, it's FREE! It is as easy to set up on your web site as a Postlet [ http://activerain.com/blogsview/478587/Postlets-This-has-to ]! If you need help just contact me and I will go over it in greater detail, but here's a screen shot of what my last few 'hits' were:

I couldn't agree more, it is a fantastic FREE way to keep your computer running without virus troubles. For lots more techie type freeware and low cost programs, check out Kim Komado's web site http://komando.com/(don't just Google her though, there are two very different Kim Komado's out there). I've subscribed to her newsletters for years, and I always find great tips.

Finally. You know, it takes a long time to get over 10k points. Thanks for being patient and reading to my boring posts... now I can go back to normal me. And then to find out that I don't even get credit for this one unless I have at least 50 words in it! … (8 comments)

Just when you think it can't get any easier, out comes Postlets (ok, they've been around a while it just takes me a while to find things...). This has to be the easiest, coolest, fastest built web flyer I've seen. I think I'm going to rebuild my personal web site around all the cool features I have found for FREE on Active Rain.

Ok, all a person has to do is find a few hours to look closely, and they will discover all (or at least some) of the secrets of Active Rain. Just this afternoon I figured out how to change to look and feel of my blog page (http://activeraincustomizer.com/) and how to post some very cool listing sheets on my blog (http://www.postlets.com) .
I'm having a blast learning all this, but the real question is... will I remember how tomorrow?? Ha!

Ok, now I'm really confused! (and don't tell me whats new... ) I'm over visiting in central Illinois, and the folks over here eat buffalo and walleye, especially on Fridays. Except it's not buffalo OR walleye! Buffalo isn't meat, it's fish! Can you believe that, and then not just any fish, it's carp!! I grew using carp to help our gardens grow, know what I mean?... You should see the looks I got when I asked for a buffalo burger.... I can live with that, kinda, but then comes the big one. Walleye isn't walleye! Txt Message Marketing - 04/18/08 08:03 PM
Ok, I signed up for the txt message marketing, and I am getting very few people trying it. I'm not sure what the problem is; my ad stinks (I advertise in the air force magazine, lots of young techie buyers), no yard sign ad (I use the 800 system marketing on my sign, should I change?), some other reason....
Is anyone else using this type of new marketing with any success? I would like to discuss this with you to share tips and ideas. Send me an email!
