Hernando County Real Estate Market Report: November 2009 For the first time in several months, inventory of Homes for Sale in Hernando County has slightly increased over the previous month while closed transactions decreased slightly over October. While average and median price ranges for October were influenced by one or two properties that had sold in very high price ranges, the sold price ranges and median and average prices returned to lower levels in November 2009. Inventory of Homes for Sale in the Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club Community increased slightly in August 2009. Listing price range increased on the lower end while it decreased on the higher end lowering both median and average list prices. Several weeks ago, I had bought some really good watermelon. After I was done eating it, I threw out some of the seeds in the backyard for the "birds" to eat. Well, apparently, the birds didn't eat the seeds and out came little watermelon vines here and there.
In my Hernando Beach neighborhood, the dirt is not all that good. It's a challenge to grow a lawn and growing vegetables in this waterfront community isn't the norm. Well, this one is actually a grasshopper and home grown for that matter as it's been feasting on the plants in my very own yard all its life. I just figure, I deserved I a great photo for this hospitality. This guy actually started out with hundreds of its brothers as tiny little specks of something clinging to some Muhly grass back in the Spring.
