Real Estate Photography - Capturing the Mood Real estate photography should highlight the property, whether it is a home, condo, duplex, or even raw land. Therefore, the subject property will dictate to an extent what pictures need to be taken. Most photos will concentrate on interiors and features to show potential home buyers what the home looks like on the inside. Ideally, photos should also convey a sense of layout. Another important aspect of real estate photography is capturing the mood by taking advantage of exterior features and geographical orientation such as the direction someone will look to from a back or front yard.
Florida has a lot coastline and 663 miles of beaches! Some of the best beaches can be found along the Gulf coast of Florida. Last weekend, we took a drive to Destin, Florida, in the Panhandle and spent a couple of days at the sugary white beaches there. This photo was taken just before sunset. The last light from the sun created an intriguing mirror image pattern in the evening sky!

Rainbow at the End of a Rainy Day Sometimes it's worth to turn around and look the other way. After raining all afternoon, we still got a nice sunset at the end of the day. The entire sky went orangy-pink so I couldn't resist taking a photo.
It was still rainly lightly and as I turned around to go back into the house, I noticed a faint rainbow forming! Sunset and rainbow at the same time, it's not something you see every day!

Ruby Red Sunset! It's been a glorious Sunday that ended in a glorious sunset. I zoomed into the sun with my camera to capture it just as it was dipping into the horizon doused in colors so fiery orange and red. With no clouds in the sky, this ruby red sunset truly was a beautiful sight.

"Midway" - Sunset Impressions If you've been to the NAR Convention, you may recognize this sight! It's the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier docked along the San Diego Bay just a short walk from the convention center. The ship is open to the public and I was told that an entire day would not be enough to see it all. With everything that was going on at the convention, there was no time to visit and I was content to capture some photos in the evening light. I love the way the sun reflects in the hull.

Hernando County prides itself to be located on Florida's Nature Coast. Here, on the West Coast of Florida you will find many opportunities to access the waters either of a crystal clear river like the Weeki Wachee River, some of the many saltwater creeks, or the Gulf of Mexico.
