springs preserve: Las Vegas Springs Preserve Birthday Party - 06/06/08 04:30 PM
Springs Preserve is celebrating it's first birthday Sunday June 8 from 11AM to 4PM.   Entertainment will include comedy by Second City, music by Killian's Angels and the Pickadillos and a performance by the Celtic Storm Dancers.   There will be face painting, a garden party and behind the scene tours.

springs preserve: Springs Preserve Winter Lights Festival - 11/28/07 12:06 AM
Springs Preserve is having their first Winter Lights Festival.  There will be more than a half million solar powered lights throughout the 8 acre botanical garden. Because they are using LED lights, it is much better for the environment.  If conventional lights were used, it would use 90 percent more energy.

The Springs Preserve is a new $250 million Nature and Learning facility just a few miles from downtown Las Vegas. It sits on the site that gave Las Vegas it's name......in Spanish.....'The Meadows'.
