Midtown Bethesda North and other Kettler properties

This blog is in response to a realtor who says that he lives at Midtown Bethesda North, but has nothing good to say (except that it is a nice building). The only reason why it caught my eye, is because I have been looking to purchase in this building over the last few months and have being doing my research, as most homebuyers should be doing. What pushed me over the edge to write this, is that this realtor's GIRLFRIEND has decided to post the SAME blog that he did (nice neutral party).

Like I said, I've been researching this building for awhile, and have spoken to MANY people in the industry and those who know of other people in the industry that I don't have access to. What I've found to be important is that this realtor is extremely cocky and doesn't have one nice thing to say about anyone! I've heard rumors that there have been "illegal smells" coming from his place too! Read all of his blogs on this website as well as other websites. He only complains, even including complaining about one of his CLIENTS!!! I would NEVER work with any kind of realtor who is complaining about a client to the public, no matter what the reason is. In all of his blogs, he is constantly promoting himself as a realtor. WHY would I want to work with you??? You made a bad choice and bought into a building where you didn't even know where it was located????? Where was the sales office? West Virginia? I'm assuming you bought when the building was first being sold a couple of years ago and the sales office was not located in the building. How could you not know where the building would be located? North Bethesda or Rockville? Who really cares the name of the city you live in anyways; as long as you like the location it shouldn't matter. Anyways, every other place advertises to their advantage.

Because I have been into the building many times, I know what the common areas look like. It seems that this realtor likes to use whatever he can for his advantage TOO! A lot of the photos on his website seem like they are taken all over Midtown Bethesda North's common areas. You hate the building so much, but can still use it to promote yourself???

I agree with what someone posted on another website blog; that this realtor probably bought into this building when the prices were a lot higher. Because the prices have come down, he is now probably just mad that he paid too much. This is the risk you take in real estate and the way it works. A lot of people lost money in real estate! (Thankfully, I've waited until now to buy.)

I have also done a lot of research about the developer, Kettler. I'm not sure why this realtor would say that we should "beware of doing business with Kettler." The only thing to back up using the words "deceptive," "unethical," and "exploit," is because of faulty equipment and condo fees???? Every new buidling has issues with getting it up and running and I've spoken with other people that live in the building; they say that there were a few issues at the beginning, but they have pretty much been fixed. Every single building has issues; nothing's perfect. As far as the condo fees, I got the scoop on this too from someone who lives there now. Apparently, the condo fees were quoted for 2005 or 2006 in the original sales contracts. The association documents (which everyone gets a copy once you buy) showed what the association fees were supposed to be when people started moving in, in 2007. If this realtor did not read his documents, as every buyer should, he would have seen that the fees were correct for 2007. I heard that they did go up a little bit in 2008 because the price of gas went up (as we all know), and gas is covered in the monthly fees. So, why is this realtor faulting the developer and assuming that they're "unethical" and "deceptive" just because he didn't read his documents and didn't know exactly where the building was located before he bought it???

Seems like this realtor has some bad karma and only likes to say bad things about people and places!

Be positive!!

I WILL buy in this building very soon and sure hope I don't run into this guy...or his girlfriend!!!
