If you have a shorter attention span, read the June 6 Press Release from the Washington Attorney General. In their desire to protect homeowners who are "distressed about the possibility of loosing their homes" the law makers may have done more harm than good....more

condo conversions: First-Time Home Buyers flock to Condo Conversion Projects - 08/14/06 12:35 AM
In a market with sparse inventory in the entry-level price range many first-time buyers are attracted to condo conversion projects. With good reason because often it’s the only affordable option. Over the past three years, developers have plucked one eastside apartment complex after another from the Seattle eastside landscape and created new real estate for sale by improving the interior spaces and exterior appearance. One developer has now completed the fourth such project, moving through Kirkland from south to north. Three of my clients have purchased condos in one of them and two in another complex.
