The 2009 Historic Norcross Holiday Home Tourwill take place this year on Saturday, December 5, 2009, in downtown Norcross. This year's tour will feature five houses and there will be a candlelight tour in the evening. The whole community light's thousands of luminaries to create a breathtaking path, glowing and inviting, as it guides guests through the evening tour.
If you have not visited downtown Norcross, it's a must see!

The 27th annual Decatur Holiday Candlelight Tour of Homes will feature eight, beautiful homes, the Clairemont Elementary Marketplace and Clairmont Oaks, a senior adult retirement community in downtown Decatur.
Proceeds from the tour benefit the Decatur Youth Fund and the Decatur Preservation Alliance. Advanced tickets are $20.00 and can purchased from merchants around Decatur. You can also buy tickets at the door for $25.00.
If you have been reading my blog, you know how much I love Serenbe! One of my favorite Serenbe events, the annual Holiday Bazaar, is this weekend. The Bazaar will feature shopping in the Serenbe stores and galleries, an Artist Market, hands on activities for children and adults, photos with Santa, holiday music and so much more. Don't forget to make plans to dine at one of Serenbe's restaurants - the Farmhouse, The Blue Eyed Daisy Bakeshop or the Hil. This is a great event to discover Serenbe!

The 2009 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas House is now open on West Wesley Road in Buckhead and features holiday inspired rooms by the best designers in Atlanta. This year's house features six beautifully decorated tablescapes dressed for the holidays with beautiful china, decorative linens, unique floral designs and amazing crystal and flatware. There will be various special events going on and the house can be rented for your next holiday party! Admission is $20.00, and the proceeds benefit the Alliance Children's Theatre. The home is currently available for sale at $5,000,000.

The Candler Park Neighborhood Association presents it's Annual Fall Fest and Tour of Homes. The Fall Fest will include a road race, an artists market, children's activities, food and music. The festival will be at Candler Park on McLendon Avenue. The Tour of Homes will be Sunday only and will feature eight homes this year.
The seventh annual Jefferson Park Tour of Homes & Gardens will feature nine, beautiful homes & gardens. Jefferson Park is the "Virginia Highland" of East Point! There will be an Artist Market, a delicious food court and a raffle. This is a great neighborhood to explore!

The 6th annual Harvest Midtown Festival will feature over 250 wine samplings and tastes of Atlanta's top restaurants. The festival will also feature artists, three different rooms of music and some of Fall's hottest fashions featured in high energy fashion shows. There will be an after party at Publik directly across the street from the Georgian Terrace Hotel. The Harvest Midtown Festival is becoming the hottest Fall event in Midtown!

The fourth annual Destination East Point will feature music, food, a chili cook-off, arts and crafts, a dog show, a silent auction, children's activities and much more. The Neighborhood Associations are participating in a poster contest, so they will be there to show you why their neighborhood is the best!
Destination East Point is another stop on the "Tour de 29" Fall Celebration sponsored by the Fulton County Arts Council.
