I was thinking about Thanksgiving and how much I enjoy cooking a huge meal along with the appetizers and desserts.  Then my mind went to the reason why we celebrate this national holiday.  Of course, it’s about more than over eating and dozing off while watching football.  It’s about giving thanks.  But it bothered me that I couldn’t remember which Indian tribe partied with the Pilgrims on Thanksgiving day.  So I looked it up.  It was the Wampanoag Indians.  No wonder I didn’t remember, I can’t even pronounce it!!  I also learned that the party lasted 3 days.
