The other day a perspective customer was telling me what they wanted in a home.  As I listen to their description, a ranch condo came to mine that might work so I started to tell them about the home...."There is a three bedroom ranch condo near Highway 92 and Hames Road in a small neighborhood."  Immediately I notice a puzzled look on the lady's face and stopped talking and asked is there a problem?  Her response "What's a ranch condo?".  I chuckled, "Sorry I was speaking real estate." and went on to explain.

Went to a birthday party this week-end and three people asked me about real estate.  When I said it's a great time to buy or sale, they all said the market is bad.  I asked "why" at which time they got this funny look on their face and replied "I heard it on the new". 
Well in my opinion, I think it's great time in real estate.  Interest rate are low - in the 5 and 6s.  That's single digit numbers and that can't be bad.  Home prices are lower this year, sellers are willing to make more  concessions, and lots of HOMES to pick from.
