The time to buy in Arnold and Bear Valley is now. There is always a perfect time to do everything. Decisive people take action now. You will be rewarded often by just taking action. - 07/30/07 08:05 PM
I am constantly working with buyers looking to find that perfect Mountain property at the perfect price. Everyone wants to purchase at the ideal time. You know the saying, "Buy low sell High". The past two years has been a roller coaster up and now down. Price may be at the lowest we will see or at least in the sellers mind set. Sellers have been beaten to the point where they will look at any offer that they never would have dreamed of just 18 months ago. Buyer's are now getting off the coach to look much more seriously at properties and I believe … (1 comments)

Historic Angels Camp - 07/24/07 04:06 PM
History of Angels Camp CA. Henry and George Angel arrived in California as soldiers, serving under Colonel Frémont during the Mexican War. After the war's end, the brothers found themselves in Monterey where they heard of the fabulous finds in the gold fields. The tales proved too strong a lure, so they joined the Carson-Robinson party of prospectors and set out for the mines. The company parted ways upon reaching what later became known as Angels Creek, with the Murphy group heading east and the Carson party continuing south. It was September of 1848.
Henry set up camp and began placer mining … (0 comments)

Mortgage Professionals Be Careful who you choose! - 07/22/07 10:38 AM
Picking the right person to work with to help you with you financing can be a challenge. Take the time to ask question about the person you are working with before you act. The biggest advise I give is to think long term instead of short term regarding your financing so that you are not controlled by the change of an interest rate or the attraction of saving a little money in the short term. Basically be conservative with your financing and you will alway be safe in the long term. For information on the best finance professionals to work with … (0 comments)

Sales Have been Slow for the first Half of 2007, although there has been some sales. Sales prices have declined slightly but relatively speaking have remained stable throughout the year. Currently there are many buyer's looking but they are now slow to act. At this time, the Internet views of properties are at a all time high for the year. Volumes for July are double of any volumes of any other part of this year. This indicates that the market maybe making a change. What are the advantages of Arnold Bear Valley Region (Ebbetts Pass Corridor) over Lake Tahoe Region - 07/21/07 02:57 PM
The beauty of Lake Tahoe can not be beat. The activities are vast and the weather in the summer is revitalizing. It is hard to find a more perfect place winter or summer. I truly love Lake Tahoe. The only-thing negative at all is the amount of people that come to enjoy Lake Tahoe. It is Crowded beyond it's capacity and has made the Lake Tahoe area suffer from urban congestion. Many times I have have enjoyed an outing near the lake only to get caught in a irritating traffic jam while we were getting back to where we are staying. This … (2 comments)

Sierra Nevada is becoming a greater place to live and play (Arnold CA - 07/20/07 04:42 PM
When we moved to Calaveras County in 1991. The area was had everything that the area has to offer in Beauty and recreation, but activities, shopping and transportation routes have vastly improved recently from the first time we have set foot in this county.  The improvement of Kautz winery and its amphitheatre, the improvements and expansion of the the Bear Valley Ski Area, and the building of the Copperopolis town-site have brought about a positive outlook for the future of the Bear Valley, Arnold, Murphys, Angels Camp and Copperopolis Area. This may be the best time ever to invest in a Vacation … (1 comments)
