Children 12 years and younger
Spend the afternoon trick or treating at select businesses in St. Charles, Missouri along historic Main Street in Olde Town.  I have attended this event for many years.  It is very much fun.  Some of the attendees dress up in awesome costumes as well as some of the business owners.
This event maintains a non-scary environment taking place during daylight hours.  Halloween does not have to be scary.  Halloween should be fun and safe...

1)  Paint a neutral color on the walls.  Paint is inexpensive and gives a fresh new look to walls.  Buyers view a fresh neutral home as a blank canvas they can put their mark on.
2)  Clean out the clutter.  You are going to move anyway, so pack everything not essential.  Yes, Everything!  While cleaning out the stuff, consider staging the rooms.  Yes, remove some of the furniture.

While watching the news this evening (by the way this does not happen often as it is generally depressing), I viewed an article about the fees banks charge to their customers...  Have you ever wondered if those fees add up to much?  I was astonished to learn the fees add up to billions of dollars.  Yes, banks are in the business to make money but come on. 
The fees they charge for over-draft protection $35.00?  Inactive account fees $5-10 a month?  The fee when the account drops below a certain balance (they forgot to tell you … (14 comments)

Transfer Tax Initiative: Missouri Real Estate Issue
During the October 2009 Business Meeting at the Lake of the Ozarks, the Missouri Association of Realtors (MAR) rolled out the campaign "Vote Yes to Stop Double Taxation".  All signs show Missourians are in favor of this issue.  It will still take a lot of work to make this a successful campaign.

This was emailed to most of you last week.  Congress needs to know we want/need an extension on the $8,000 tax credit.  I have been told if even 25% of REALTORS responded your congressmen would pass it.
