Wildwood Missouri Summertime Fun in St. Louis Missouri
1) Visit the St. Louis Zoo.  Spend a day with the animals of the world.  You might find you have more in common than you thought.  It is free and fabulous.  You can even enjoy a train ride through the zoo with purchase of a ticket. 
2) Check out the Anheuser Busch Inbev Brewery.  Yes, the tours are still free and they are awesome.  
3)  Take a trip to the St. Louis Science Center.  Spend the day learning in a fun and cool environment.

St. James Missouri is hosting Sip n' Savor St. James this Saturday May 2, 2009 from 2 until 7 p.m.  Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door.  You must check in at the Old City Hall located at 111 S. Jefferson Street in lovely St. James Missouri upon arrival.
12 wineries and 6 craft breweries will be featured with snacks available.  Many of my favorite local wine vendors will be on hand with samples.  Be sure to check out Stone Hill's and St. Genevieve Wineries booths not to mention the St. James Winery booth. Some of the tastiest wines … (18 comments)

Weekends in October in Hermann, Missouri
The wonderfully friendly people of gorgeous Hermann, Missouri celebrate their German heritage all year long, but every weekend in October they celebrate with a special gusto.  On average, thousands of visitors travel to this small town to listen to pollka music, taste the traditional foods and sample local wines. 
Oktoberfest events are held throughout the town, however, most people head to two largest wineries,  Hermannhof and Stone Hill. Stone Hill, an award winning winery, sits on a hilltop overlooking Hermann.  It is the best place to have some wine and enjoy the beautiful fall colors. The Hermannhof Winery is a bit "wilder" so take a trip there … (10 comments)
