The Federal government has developed a program that’s designed to help homeowners in trouble with their mortgages to stay in their homes. The idea is a good one. It’s a sound theory that wishes to have fewer abandoned homes on every block, which protects the neighborhood’s property values at least a little. The problem is that this program make not only be inappropriate for you, it could cause you to go into bankruptcy.
