Our Sedona spring was gorgeous with perfect temps and not much rain. But right before summer started we had a 13 day heat spell that averaged 105º for a high. That was a record for us! June is generally the hottest month of the year because monsoon does not normally develop until July. You need a dew point of 55º and just the last couple of days started to reach that threshold.

I think it is important to clarify that most of the market that are buyers come from other than Sedona. A good percentage are from out of state and many buy for different reasons. But many are looking to retire here at some point.
Some use their home as a seasonal home to get away from more harsh weather conditions. Some rent or lease out their home to get a foothold in the market and others just want to vacation here or move here outright.

As I find heart shaped rocks, I place them in my garden. These are leaning up against petrified wood. As a hobby, I created artistic postcards and placed real pictures on them for family and friends. I trademarked the phrase "Sedona is in my heart".

Looking at the Precipitation for 2016, Our yearly total is the highest year since 2010. December was a record breaking month all around. We had 7.22 inches of rain and another 7.5 inches of snow!
So far in 2017 thru March, the mean temps have been within 1.3º of 2016. Our precipitation levels are double the start of the record breaking year we had in 2016. We already have had 7.11 inches of rain and 4.25 inches of snow!
