Collins Lake! A fabulous family day. (don't leave without trying the ice cream!) - 09/21/10 12:53 PM

I took my 7 and 5 year old to Collins lake a few weeks ago for a day fishing trip.  The kids caught a number of perch and my daughter and dog had fun playing with the squirrels while my son was reeling away. PG&E President Chris Johns said the pipeline segment that ruptured and exploded beneath a San Bruno neighborhood Sept. 9, killing at least four people and destroying dozens of homes, did not warrant inclusion on the list.

Bishops Pumpkin Farm Fall Season Starting - 09/18/10 06:54 PM
I still remember the Elementary school trips with my class or weekend strolls with my family at the Bishop Family farm in Wheatland, CA. (Yuba County) The fresh apple cider and baking pies are still the same. The petting Zoo and the parking lot have both grown but the feeling that you just stepped back in time has not.
