Hello fellow mortgage pros. I just received a phone call from a very prominent entertainer. He wants to purchase a second home in Arizona.
The home's selling price is $15,000,000. You can find it in the MLS very easily. It's the only $15,000,000 home for sale in Arizona right now.
I advertise myself as the Arizona Jumbo Loan Pro, but in this "declining" market, getting a jumbo for over $3,000,000 is tough to find.

Internet Moving Slow? Proxy Errors on ActiveRain? No connection at all?!? - 03/22/10 11:59 AM
This morning, I tried to log in to ActiveRain a bunch of times and I would either get Proxy Errors or it simply would not connect at all.  (Bad connection error.)  Then again, if you are not connecting at all, I guess you won't be able to see this page.  You might want to print it out for future reference.
The Proxy Error-- I know-- is an ActiveRain problem.  But I was also getting them today and as soon as I did the following things, I stopped getting the Proxy Error.  Probably coincidence, but maybe not.

This is a post I've wanted to write for a while, because I think the public should be well informed about the "weekend mortgage rate" lie in your local newspaper.
These lies are quite common and serve to make us all look bad.  It also makes it very difficult for honest mortgage brokers to do their jobs.
These things drive me nuts.
Some Arizona mortgage companies list their mortgage rates on websites or even in my local paper over the weekend.

I just saw a television commercial by national mortgage lender Quicken Loans. I hated it. They basically had two things to say.
First: You need to refinance right now!
Oh gee whiz. Is that what mortgage companies want? They want you to refinance right now?
I would have never guessed.
They also claim that they are extremely honest.
Okay, so far so good. Honesty is a good thing when you are dealing with a mortgage company.

Some of you are aware of this already, but I've been hoarding domains for years.
I own hundreds of domains, with the hope that someday-- somebody would want them. I have sold quite a few, but I never actually go out of my way to market them.
Do you know some people list real estate domain names on Ebay?
(By the way, Google reads "co" as company.  It has a built in thesaurus.)

The Chandler AZ Hilton, located on 2929 W. Frye Road (just east of Price / 101) has about the best brunch deal in the city of Chandler right now.
