When I started my real estate career several years back, the first stop after getting my license was the bank. I decided that each commission check would be divvied up amongst 4 different accounts (yes, my previous career was in Accounting):
Checking - Household Checking - Real Estate Savings - Taxes (for those pesky quarterly tax estimates we self-employed folks need to pay) Savings - Rainy Day account (for those pesky months when no commission is coming in) Then today as I was reconciling all of them (isn't online banking the best?!), I realized that "Save for a rainy day" … (6 comments)

I met a wonderful couple last year, and will be listing their house in the next couple of months. They are ready to start looking for their next house, but aren't exactly sure where they want to buy.

Today, my husband and I went on a cruise...on Lake Erie! We took the same cruise 3 years ago on our wedding day, so this was our anniversary cruise! Those of you from the Cleveland area already know about the Nautica Queen. For those of you who don't, it's a beautiful little cruise ship that starts out on the Cuyahoga River, ferries out onto Lake Erie and comes back -- total time for the luncheon cruise is 2 hours. And what a fun time!! Great food, great service and a DJ *slash* Tour Guide telling corny jokes along with giving a very informative narrative. … (18 comments)

And now I have to think of 5 things that you don't know about me. Hmmm...considering I haven't been around AR all that long, there's probably LOTS of things you don't know about me. But since I have to choose just 5, here goes:
1) I LOVE elephants!!
One of my favorite places in the whole world is the Cleveland MetroparksZoo!
They've even taught the girls how to paint...and yes, I have one of Moshi's paintings on the wall above my piano. : )
