loan officers: A Few of the Things I Am Positive About - 05/06/09 03:47 PM
Late last year, in one of my final blogs of 2008, I wrote that in 2009 all my blogs, reads and comments on Active Rain would be positive in nature. After a year and a half or so, the negatives were just too draining mentally and emotionally. I have maintained that commitment as I have passed on any blog that appears to me to be negative from the title. If I am duped into reading one that mislead me to begin reading with a somewhat positive title, I stop immediately and go on to the next. I have not blogged since February. As

loan officers: Mortgage Loans Can Be ........... Like Whisper Down the Valley - 02/05/09 07:32 PM
Surely you remember as a child, when you were at a birthday party, in school, a family event or perhaps just killing time with several of your closest friends participating in that lovely, entertaining game of Whisper Down the Valley. As I recall, there was a ton of laughter at the end of every transfer of information from the 1st person whispering, to the last person in line who had to repeat what was relayed to them. 99.9% of the time, the information was totally erroneous. loan officers: I'm Not Bragging......... - 09/25/07 10:31 AM
But I work with a TEAM of true professionals. The folks I work with are like family to me. When they hurt, I hurt. When they are euphoric over a success, I'm euphoric. When they have problems, I want to help all I can. I've worked with some of these people as long as 19yrs, none less than 2 years. Ever been to an incredibly upscale, high cost, opulent restaurant? No, no, no, the one a step above the one you just thought of. You know the place I'm talking about. There is one or two almost any where you go in our great country. The place where you might not be sure of how to pronounce everything on the menu. The place where you get a utensil or two you might not be sure how to use. The place where you need to get a tad pumped up before the 500.00+ check comes so you don't pass out from hyperventilation.

loan officers: Where Have All The Quasi ORIGINATORS Gone????? - 09/14/07 12:48 PM
No doubt hiding under a rock somewhere! Seems only a short time ago that pre- qualifying applicants for home loans was an activity reserved for only originators who were not faint of heart. Many applications were concluded with some of the following phrases: 'You'll need to take care of this or that creditor that has not been paid BEFORE you'll qualify for the mortgage your looking for'. 'You will need to develop a savings plan to have the reserves and closing costs required by the program you would qualify for. If you'd like I can help devise a plan.' 'There are to
