What I learned this week: - 04/29/12 07:09 AM
I have had an amazing month of learning. I have taken some great classes and really opened my mind
to some new ideas.
I learned about the 3 bucket rule:
1st bucket: fund your lifestyle, what does it take to pay your daily/ monthly bills.
2nd bucket: pay off your debt, start with your credit cards then work to pay your mortgages.
3rd bucket: invest, put money in to areas that will give you passive income.
With the 3 bucket rule you will be more in control of your financial life.

I will be at a great home today in Lincoln California. This large Lincoln home has 5 Bedrooms and 4.5 Bathrooms.

Good News for Sacramento Market - 04/25/12 01:16 PM
In the paper today they had some Good News for the Sacramento Market....
As a full time Sacramento/ Placer County Real Estate Agent I understand my local market.
I study the trends, comps and stats for our area. I know that inventory is at an all time low
and the buyers are gaining confidance and buying power with the low interest rates.
But today the newspaper stated that with the slight rise in prices we should see reduced foreclosures.

80/20 Rule: my AHA moment - 04/25/12 01:09 PM
I went to an amazing class this week at Keller Williams Roseville called Quatum Leap.
It was full of information on how to take your business and life to the next level!
One of my big AHA moments was the 80/20 rule.
80% of your business comes from 20% of your efforts.
The part that poked me in the eye was that if you are not in your 20% you are in
someone else's 20%.
As I look at all of my rolls in life: Realtor, Wife, mother, sister, daughter...I find

If you live in Placer County you may or may not know we are in a Real Estate Market Shift! We have in Lincoln California 225 homes for sale. Within that number there are 145 homes that are a short sale and only 8 homes that are Bank Owned. This is a dramatic reduction to what we saw in the previous years. In Lincoln California there are 175 homes Pending completion of sale. Only 42 of those escrows are REO or Bank Owned homes. The others are short sales, traditional sales and Flips. As I stroll into my second month of relocating to a New Town I am forced to face
the fact that I am not going to have the same business that I had in the town that
I lived and worked in for 12 years.
So what do I do??
Well I know I need to push my limits and get out of my comfort zone.
I need to stop "getting moved in" and get to work.
