Looking for something fun, free & informative to do this weekend? You may want to check out the first annual Long Beach Lawn-to-Garden Tour.
It will be held this Saturday, May 19th, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The tour is self-guided and will feature the opportunity to view about 30 gardens where homeowners have replaced their lawns with water-smart landscapes. Homeowners or representatives will be available at each home to talk about their experiences during their garden transformations.

When I travel, there are usually two things that people know about Long Beach: the Queen Mary is here and we have the Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix is coming up soon so mark your calendar. The 38th Annual Toyota Grand Prix is April 13th through 15th.
