This evening from 5-7pm, Homeplace Advisors will be sharing a table with the UBA at the Heels and Ties charity event! We'll be handing out coupons to everyone who shows up, and we'll also have a trivia game set up with the chance to win a $50 gift card to Destihl Restaurant!
Entry to the event is only $5.00 and proceeds this month go to support the American Diabetes Association. Come join us for a fun night out and support a great cause!

Do You Tell the Truth, or Do You Tell People What They Want to Hear?
Well, I’ll be the first to admit that I love it when someone agrees with me. It's wonderful when my own opinion is mirrored and a lovely, agreeable conversation ensues.

Would You Have Opened the Door...?
While showing a home to a client yesterday, we came across this closet door...

While the curious side of me was begging to open that door and find out what was in there, my cautious side prevailed and the contents of the closet remain a mystery. My question is, would you have opened it?

I checked. Neither Little Red Riding Hood nor her grandmother is listed in the tax records as owning this house. Still, as I took this shot I half expected her to come skipping out the front door carrying her wicker basket and offer me a slice of Mother's homemade bread. Yummm.
A walking tour of our West Urbana community is certain to reveal surprises and delights, even to a resident such as myself who's walked these sidewalks many times before. Today was no exception. This remarkable dwelling caught my eye and out came the camera.

Champaign IL Housing Market 1st Quarter Report
The Champaign IL housing market is beginning to pick up as we head towards the summer months and prime selling season! Compared to the first quarter of last this, the number of sales and average sale price are up slightly while the huge inventory of homes on the market has continued to be a challenge for sellers.
