Concerned About Vacant Homes? - 06/29/11 07:52 PM
When homeowners are forced to leave their homes due to foreclosure they leave behind a collection of potential problems in a neighborhood. Empty houses can attract unwanted intruders, squatter, illegal activity, and can ultimately drive down the values of home around them. Here in South Kitsap, foreclosures only make up 7% of the active listings; however that 7% hinders their neighbors and homes actively on the market. The good news is that with just a few steps you can prevent some of the negative impact of foreclosures in your neighborhood and less the impact if prevention is unseccessful. Reduce That Debt - 06/08/11 07:56 PM
Reducing your debt is a lot like trying to lose weight. You will not see all of the hard work at first but it will show up. You must be deligent and keeping at it and know that it will make a difference... long term. I set up a spreadsheet in goodle docs that let me see my payments every two weeks, my balances and how long it would take me to pay off each debt. I have paid down almost $30,000 in the last year. I set up a google document so I could track my progress. I had a spreadsheet, a notepad there so I could do it during my lunch break or at home. Give them a call. Point blank, (3 comments)

Freddie Mac using incentives to move more REO's - 06/03/11 04:37 PM
In an effort to get through the Freddie Mac inventory a bit quicker, Freddie Mac is offereing incentives to selling brokers of an additional $1200 on top of normal commissions from now until to the final day of September. The special incentive program applies to HomeSteps properties to owner-occupant buyers but not to investors. In addition, Freddie Mac is offering to pay up to 3.5% of the buyers closing costs during this program. Some homes will have an additional home warranty plan covering electrical, plumbing, heating and other systems and appliances. This is not for all Freddie Mac HomeSteps REO's but (0 comments)
