The Magic's new home is almost finished! After years of haggling for a new Arena, the Magic and Orlando fans have gotten their wish. I don't know the financial details, but when we lived there it was bantered back and forth more than once.
The Magic made it to the playoffs this year and Orlando showed up to support them with huge banners all over the buildings downtown. Just take a look at these billboard size banners all along I-4. What great fan support!

Looking across the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville Florida from the Hyatt Hotel on the South bank. The Wachovia Bank building is in front of the camera. Taxies ferry people across the River downtown, and Four Bridges get the job done, too. Porpoises can be seen swimming and jumping through the downtown area sometimes.
