Wordless Wednesday ~ Chapel in Athens Greece - 11/10/10 10:52 PM
This ancient chapel is in the Market area of Athens Greece in the Plaka District. It is just steps from the foot of the Acropolis. Surrounded by modern buildings, the chapel is protected by the open pedestrian streets around it. The Market area is along a pedestrian street that begins at the former Palace, now the Parliament. The Market is called the Monastiraki.

EAGLE HARBOR WATER RESTRICTIONS ~ FALL 2010 Eagle Harbor residents - if you received a notice from the St. John's River Water Management District that said Eagle Harbor has irrigation restrictions, that is true IF you are NOT using reclaimed water for landscape irrigation. IF YOU ARE USING RECLAIMED WATER, THERE ARE NO WATER RESTRICTIONS. However, it is still recommended that you water before 10AM and after 4PM to avoid excess water evaporation. The Jacksonville Fair is in town!!! November 3-14, 2010
It's time to hit the road and head to the Jacksonville Fair in downtown Jacksonville. Check out the website at http://www.jacksonvillefair.com/ There are daily special admission/ticket prices, and entertainment and special events galore. And let's not forget the RIDES! That's what the Fair is all about, isn't it? Well that and the cotton candy... Wordless Wednesday ~ Utah Mountains - 11/03/10 11:46 PM
The rugged beauty of the Utah desert and mountains is really too grand to capture in a photograph, but somehow the composition and light in this one takes me back to the landscape and time when we were there. Still can't believe I took this shot - I made Frank stop so many times along the drive to Escalante that I thought he was going to make me put my camera in the trunk :)
