I am fascinated with the concept of bio-based semi-rigid foam insulation made from soybean oil.  In addition to drastically cutting energy bills and being eco-friendly; it is neat and clean, by comparison to other types of insulation. Please let me know if you know anyone who has used this product and what the impact has been on their energy consumption. I am also curious about installation costs around the country.  Sounds to me like this is a great choice for residential and commercial property owners!

I am becoming increasingly more frustrated with the media and their negative approach to the news.  There must be a sensational "good news" story to report. How does everyone else feel? 
I have been impressed with the many positive real estate blogs.  It seems like many housing markets are doing just fine.  Dallas, TX is holding its own!

In Dallas, I am discovering that homebuyers and homebuilders are becoming more interested in finding ways to meet their homebuilding and remodeling needs, while conserving natural resources and preserving the environment.  The words sustainable and sustainability are often used interchangeably with such terms as "eco-friendly" and "green." People interested in sustainability are using products and resources that are least harmful to the natural environment.  In addition, they are finding ways to reuse natural resources such as water, and finding creative new uses for reclaimed materials. There seems to be a growing consciousness about conserving resources for future generations.
