Klyde Warren Park opens this weekend, Saturday, October 27, 2012, in Dallas. This 5.2 acre park spans the 8 lane Woodall Rodgers Freeway and connects the Dallas Arts District to Uptown.
Three hundred twenty-two (322) trees have been planted on the Klyde Warren Park grounds.The trees are planted in 4 feet of soil.Keeping in mind our windy North Texas weather, the trees are anchored with cables and concrete to ensure that they remain in their original location. Tonight Dallas Museum of Art Late Night is continuing with the "Youth and Beauty" twenties theme and creating a Speakeasy for a fun night of dancing.  The Singapore Slingers will provide twenties music for the event.  Dance lessons are available in The Atrium.
"Midnight in Paris," produced and directed by Woody Allen, will be shown at 10:00 PM.
