This Sunday, October 4th, 2009 is the 48th annual Sandcastle Contest in Corona del Mar which will be held right on the beach. If you would like to participate in this event, you can download this form and enter the contest. There are three different entry fees - if you enter as a family, the entry fee is $30, and if you enter as a business, the fee is $40. The  Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure  was held at Fashion Island in Newport Beach yesterday September 27, 2009. I participated in this event with my family, and what an awesome experience. The attendance for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was approximately 30,000 people. There were participants racing in honor of others who are survivors, and there were survivors as well that raced.
