The holiday season is here in Newport Beach, and the decor that exists is incredible. Last night was the finale of the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade. Despite the rain and chilly weather, it did not dampen anyone’s spirits. I was fortunate enough to view the parade two of the nights. The decor was amazing. Last week, I saw the boat parade at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach at the Prudential Holiday party. Below is a photo of the tree at the Balboa Bay club in Newport Beach.

This tuscan style community in Newport Coast was built by Taylor Woodrow Homes in 1996. Altezza in Newport Coast is a gated community and has approximately 110 condos.

A Day at the River Jetty in Newport Beach
The river jetty in Newport Beach, is located between the west side of Newport Beach, and on the other side is Huntington Beach. Residents and visitors bring their dogs to run and play at the jetty.
Today, the weather is incredible and a great beach day with temperature in the 70’s (water temp was cool – the surfers were all wearing wetsuits). Experience the Beauty of a Newport Beach Sunset
Last evening, after the coastal fog had burned off, there were some clouds that created an unbelievable sunset. The colors kept changing, and the sky was vibrant with an array of colors.
I took these photographs last evening in Newport Shores in Newport Beach. Newport Shores is surrounded by the canal and the level goes up and down with the tide.
The sky was truly nature’s palette.

Have you been wondering what those tall sirens located in West Newport and the Balboa Peninsula were? They are the new emergency notification system for the coastal residents of Newport Beach.
The city of Newport Beach has recently installed an outdoor emergency notification system in Newport Beach. These emergency sirens are located in west Newport Beach at 58th Street near the tennis courts. The other locations for the emergency sirens are at the Balboa Peninsula at 15th Street near Veterans Park, and West Jetty View Park near the entrance to the wedge.

Look Who Came to Visit in Newport Shores Today
Two swans flew in to visit us here in Newport Shores today. There was one that looked familiar, but the darker one we have not seen before. In the past, we have seen pairs, then only one for a while. So perhaps the original one found a new mate. They are so beautiful and graceful.
It is such a pleasure to see them, as we haven’t seen any swans since last summer.
So I thought I would share these photos with you to enjoy as well!
