&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;A&#160;great way to visit the island is to take the Balboa Island ferry.&#160;There are&#160;three 64 foot&#160;ferries, that have the capacity to carry three automobiles. Also bicyclists and pedestrians can ride for a fee as well. The ferry drivers are very skilled, especially during the summer months when Newport Harbor can be incredibly busy with the Newport Harbor boat traffic.&#160; It is a great way to travel from the Peninsula to the Island and enjoy the beauty of the Newport Harbor on the brief journey.&lt;img title="ferry" src="http://activerain.com/image_store/uploads/5/6/6/3/6/ar121926972663665.jpg" height="286" alt="ferry" style="float: left; margin: 2px; border: black 4px solid;" width="300" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;Balboa Island has both bay front homes and interior homes. There is a quaint village on the main island that is located on Marine Avenue - enjoy shops, dining, and during the summer months there is an art festival. Many of the island residents travel around via golf carts. It is a great way to start the day by walking around the island, and many visitors and residents begin their day by walking or jogging around the island.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Cameo Shores is located on the ocean side of Coast Highway and features approximately 170 homes. There is a beautifully hardscaped entry to Cameo Shores. The homes are all terraced so they have spectacular Ocean and Catalina views. The homes on the uppermost street typically do not have views, however all the other streets do have views.&amp;nbsp;&lt;img title="view" src="http://activerain.com/image_store/uploads/6/1/5/7/7/ar121926145077516.jpg" height="236" alt="Cameo Shores view" width="321" style="float: left; margin: 2px; border: black 4px solid;" /&gt;and most have a courtyard type of entrance. The homes give the feeling of being see through - walk through the court yard to an view of the Pacific Ocean. The homes in Cameo Shores&amp;nbsp;originally were one story, however many have been remodeled or rebuilt. Many of the homes have been built down to maintain the height. There is still a height restriction on building&amp;nbsp;so that these homes retain their view. There is also a home owners association dues which is reasonable.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cameo Shores in Corona del Mar has a park for children and get togethers, and there are access points to a private beach. The beach has beautiful rock formations that creates a very picturesque view.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The families that live in Cameo Shores have access to the schools in Corona del Mar including Harbor View Elementary, and Corona del Mar High School.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Lido Sands is a gated development of 82 homes located on the west side of Newport Beach. Walking distance to one of the finest beaches in Newport Beach, Lido Sands is a highly sought after neighborhood. With reasonable association fees, Lido Sands originally offered three different home plans. These homes in Lido Sands all featured open, high ceilings,&amp;nbsp;and floor to ceiling glass windows which creates an open feel. These windows look towards the patio and gardens.       <title>Maui - "The Valley Isle"</title>
      <description>&lt;font&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Wailea area of Maui is located on the dryer and warmer part of the island. There are lava fields which sculpt the landscape. &lt;img src="http://activerain.com/image_store/uploads/8/3/5/2/9/ar121709095392538.jpg" height="321" alt="" width="450" style="float: left; margin: 2px; border: black 6px solid;" /&gt;The trees and foliage grew right along the coastline which creates even more beauty.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the Wailea area, water activities are very popular - including outrigger canoe, sailing, swimming, snorkel-ling and of course Scuba diving.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&#160;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&#160;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is an extinct volcano named Molokini which is located about 2 miles off the coast of Maui. This is a very popular snorkel ling and even more popular Scuba site. In the center, there is a reef with a large number of species of fish. And there is also diving on the back wall of Molokini which drops off to about 300'. Molokini is a protected preserve area.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From the coast of Wailea you can view an island&#160;named Kahoolawe.&#160;This island is not inhabited and&#160;in the&#160;early 1990's, was used by the US Navy as a bombing range. Currently there is a preservation effort to restore the island.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There is a cove on Maui past Wailea which has two narrow entries into the water, and if there is a swell, then it can be treacherous swimming due to the lava and rock located there. It is a very small beach lined with trees, and looks toward Kahoolawe and Molokini.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you get the opportunity, visit Maui. There is a direct flight from Los Angeles International Airport and it is about five hours to get there.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Aloha from Maui</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: #0000ff;"&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;Aloha&amp;nbsp; - I am on vacation this week on the beautiful island of Maui. Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian islands and is part of the state of Hawaii. Maui is a diverse and unique area offering beauty and diverse activities for those reside in Maui or visit Maui.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;img src="http://activerain.com/image_store/uploads/3/6/4/7/5/ar121657797257463.jpg" height="280" alt="" width="344" style="float: right; margin: 2px; border: turquoise 6px solid;" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;Maui is a five hour jet ride from Los Angeles International Airport to Kahului Airport (airport identifier OGG).&amp;nbsp;Kahaului is located between the Haleakala area and the West Maui Mountain Range. Maui offers many destination points to visit. We have started our journey here at Kapalua which is a bit more rainy than other parts of Maui, but offers luxury golf courses and fantastic views of the ocean. Many of these golf courses are championship golf courses.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;Maui is also home to Lahaina, which is a former whaling town.&amp;nbsp;In Lahaina, there is a street called Front Street where you can walk to shopping and dining. Some of the dining experiences include restaurants called Bubba Gumps and Cheeseburger&amp;nbsp;in Paradise (it really is paradise here).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;The city of Kaanapali is a 3 mile stretch of beach and there is an area called Black Rock located there. I have dove in that area and have seen sea turtles and different sea life. Also, located in Kaanapali is an open air market place which is called Whaler's Village where there are a multitude of shops and restaurants. The Kaanapali area features water sports (para sailing, swimming, catamaran cruises just to name a few).&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;In fact there is a new zip line adventure in this area, and if you are visiting Maui, be sure to make reservations in advance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;The beaches in Maui are beautiful and the color of the water is like no other.&lt;/p&gt;

There is horse back riding and trail rides which is another way to view the island. The restaurants are fantastic, many of the courses include different&amp;nbsp;Hawaiian fish prepared in a variety of ways.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;People were still swimming, surfing and walking along the boardwalk and the beach. The tower on the pier is Huntington Beach City Lifeguard tower where they watch for swimminers and surfers along the pier.&lt;/p&gt;

This is a great opportunity ofr aviation enthusiasts to come and view the historic planes that are on display as well as a fantastic air show.&amp;nbsp; Chino Airport is located about 20 minutes from the Orange County area, and is a great airport for general aviation. There&amp;nbsp;is also the historic Planes of Fame Museum which is available to visit year round.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.airnav.com/airport/KCNO"&gt;Chino Airport&lt;/a&gt; is a general aviation airport, and has tremendous benefits for aircraft owners. The airport identifier is KCNO. There are private hangars available for lease or purchase. And the airport features several runways (26L - 7000',&amp;nbsp;26R - 4858', and Runway 21- 4919'. The runways may be turned in accordance with the wind direction. The length of the runways accomodate the larger aircraft for take off and landing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: left;"&gt;The airshow will feature warbirds and military displays. It is an opportunity to get close and tour spectacular aircraft. There is even the opportunity to board some of these aircraft. Come and visit Chino Airport. Bring your camera, and bring your sunscreen.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: left;"&gt;There are some great restaurants including Flo's which is located at 5650 Riverside Dr, Chino. This is a great place to get a hearty breakfast, and meet some pilots.&lt;/p&gt;
