New Hampshire Home Stager - Do I Practice What I Preach? - 05/23/10 11:43 AM
Anyone who knows me knows I like an organized home. Anyone who reads my blog knows I have strong feelings and opinions when it comes to preparing a house for sale. What about my house? Does this New Hampshire home stager practice what she preaches? Step inside and you may be surprised at what you find...
Two years ago I never would have imagined that my formal living room would look like this:
Family photos in the dining room and our 25 x 30 portrait, which I refer to as "Jaclyn Smith meets Captain (33 comments)
How To Overcome The Big NEGATIVES And Get The House SOLD! - 05/21/10 11:18 AM
My Idaho Realtor friend, Janna, shows that negative features can be turned positive with a little creative thinking, research, and strategically placed displays. Next time you have a negative feature in a listing, see if you can turn it around and use it to your advantage.

SOLD IN 30 DAYS! New Hampshire Home Staging Update... - 05/17/10 09:17 PM
Last month I wrote two posts about a beautiful New Hampshire home that had undergone an impressive transformation after I was called in for a home staging consult. The house had three major issues:

The house has a fabulous in-law apartment which should have been a tremendous selling feature. Unfortunately, the parents (21 comments)
Pets are NOT People - 05/15/10 10:34 PM
Advice to sellers: Remove your pets, and all evidence of your pets, from your home when showing it to potential buyers. This is the advice I give sellers, and when I read Randy's post, I had to share it.
Via Randy Ostrander-Realtor® Serving Big Rapids and West Central MI (Lake and Lodge Realty LLC ): Pets are NOT People I will try and make this as clear as possible without offending the pet owners of the world. First...I love animals, I would never condone getting rid of your pets. Having said that, some need it pointed out they are not people. (17 comments)
Home Staging Works In New Hampshire - SOLD In 18 Days! - 05/07/10 02:24 PM
Home staging works in New Hampshire. Whether it's a full staging with new furniture or a staging consult with a to-do list of suggested improvements, home staging could drastically reduce your time on the market. I was recently contacted by a seller who found me online. She had listed her house two years ago and after five months on the market without an offer, she decided not to sell. Because of that negative experience, she wanted to make sure they did everything they could to improve their odds this time around. She was a serious seller who didn't want to repeat past (36 comments)
