Our "toy hauler" travel trailer transformation is finally complete and we are very happy with the end result.   As with any redesign project, it's all in the details.

With any home improvement project, the greatest bang for your buck is paint.  Our "toy hauler" trailer transformation is no exception.

THE FLOOR
The old linoleum floor had to go.  We looked at new linoleum, wood, stick on floor tiles, and indoor/outdoor carpet. 
We were not happy with any of the available choices. 
Because the bike actually drives into the unit, we were concerned with the floor being too slippery.

In my last post I wrote about my exciting new project transforming a toy hauler that my husband and I recently purchased.  It's been lots of work...but we love projects like this and we're enjoying seeing the transformation take place.
 
Day One
A whole lot of cleaning going on!  Both inside and out.  The trailer had been sitting in the woods for the last year...dirt, berries, and mold had made a mess of the outside.  Scrubbing the exterior and polishing the chrome were first on Rick's list.

We have an exciting new project we've been busy working on.  Last week we bought a "toy hauler" - a travel trailer that also carries our motorcycle inside. 
Toy haulers are  hard to find in New Hampshire.  The economy pretty much killed the market, and the trailer dealers that do still carry them have a very limited selection.  We've been searching online for a used one, and not having much luck...
We wouldn't have gone to see this one if we could have found one closer to us.  It was 1 1/2 hours away and based on the pictures online, it did not appear to be worth the trip.
