As I am sitting here thinking about this past year, I have worked harder this year then any year prior and not as much to show for it. We have done ok but not amazing as past years. WHY?
The Economy is starting to rebound but it was in the dumps. People now have money but cannot get loans due to the loan restrictions. Home prices have dropped and interest rartes are at their lowest ever!
The doom and gloom the newspapers and reporters have sent out to us has been nothing more than "Little Chicken yelling the Sky is Falling!" I finally had to write our newspaper and tell them that they were causing more depression by their lackluster reporting.
Yes, last year was not as good as the others but I am still in the most exciting business that you can be in. I love the ups and downs! I love the ups more of course - but then my creativity comes out during the down times and try to look for new ways to do things and brush up on the new technology (by candle light) if I can't pay my electric bill!
Every December I get so excited about the next year and what it will bring! The people I work with are fantastic Agents and my friends at other companies are just as amazing. The support group is great! I am so blessed by this business and the friends I have met. The excitement when an Agent sells a home or meets their goals is just beyond words! It's so neat when your goals are meshed into your Agents' Goals! They are part of my "Family"!
So as of right now, I declare that 2011 is going to be a FANTASTIC Real Estate Year! We are going to list and sell more homes than ever! Remember the Bible says where two people are gathered and pray together - it will come to pass!
So any of you that read this pray that 2011 is going to be one to remember in the Real Estate Market. Homes will be selling at a fast pace. In fact the sellers are going to have to do a "rent back" because we are closing in record times. Buyers are coming out of the woodwork. I am so excited and can't wait for 2011! This is "our" year!
