I have used this mechanism called a blog for many things:
I've used it to garner business when I was still in the business, to foster relationships when I still cared ... and now ... to curiously put into play the fact that I just like to write and hope I'm not totally lousy at it.  Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm not lousy at it, yet a doubt rings in even this mind.

Tired of the story yet?  An openly Christian and God-believing athlete gets a lot of press for NOT being a tattoo wearing, self-absorbed, mecca for stories about how many men or women he slept with and how many performance enhancing drugs he didn't do ... it has all the 'Elements' of someone being accused of a God-blowing blowhard by the cynical way we look at anything and anyone today.
